NPA Remuneration Recommendations

 
The NPA Remuneration Recommendation for national public employees exists in the absence of access to standard labor law. Its function is to ensure that national public employee remuneration is in line with the Japanese private sector. The Remuneration Recommendation is made on the basis of balancing the remuneration level of national public employees with the remuneration level of employees of private enterprises.
 
The NPA provides framework recommendations to the Diet and the Cabinet for the development of laws and regulations. Additionally, the NPA will revise, establish or abolish NPA Rules using defined standards and adherence to statutory authority.
